I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, and knew from a very young age that I wanted to pursue a career involving animals. I graduated from Allegheny College in 2018, where I received my Bachelor’s of Science degree with a major in biology and a minor in psychology. I’ve spent countless hours working with animals through internships in Wildlife rehabilitation and zoo keeping, working in dog kennels, caring for aquatic animals, as well as volunteering at shelters, farms and raptor rehabilitation centers. I will be continuing my education at The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine in the Fall of 2018, with interest in pursuing a speciality of animal behavior or oncology.
